Erica Settino is a certified, experienced, registered yoga teacher (E-RYT, CYT) with over ten years teaching experience. With her roots deep in Iyengar, Vinyasa, Kundalini and Bhakti yoga traditions, she works to blend the physical with the emotional and spiritual, creating a sacred connection to herself and with all of whom she meets.

Erica is a humble devotee of her guru, Pujya Swami Chidanand Saraswatiji, who along her path, provides her with constant guidance, teachings, blessings, and faith. A thousand pranams, Swamiji!

Additionally, she is blessed to count amongst her teachers, Sri Dharma Mittra, Sharon Gannon and David Life, Rodney Yee, Sara Ivanhoe, and most recently, Cyndi Lee, founder of Om Yoga in NYC, whom Erica was fortunate enough to earn her 500 hour advanced teacher training certification with.

Also a passionate animal activist, in 2010 Erica founded the yoga-based, non-profit, humane education organization Karuna For Animals:  Compassion In Action, Inc., whose members seek to promote compassion (karuna), peace (shanti) and loving-kindness (maitri) to animals of all species. It is their mission to raise awareness and funds for the rights of all animals. Through a dedicated practice of the science of yoga, community outreach, humane education, vegan cooking and nutrition education, and monthly fundraisers, they aim to cultivate the change they hope to see in the world. All funds raised are used to support their outreach and education programs, as well as offer monetary gifts to those individuals and organizations whose missions match their own, and who are directly responsible for the rescue, rehabilitation and care of animals of all species.

Through the organization, Erica offers workshops, classes, and study groups. Stay tuned for our upcoming events.

In 2011, Erica completed her MFA in Creative Writing and has since published her first children’s book, “I Am Everything and Everything Is Me,” which is part of a yogic, humane education curriculum that is offered at the studio.

Catherine Juliano -  is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). She is currently studying with Three Sisters Yoga and will receive her 500-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher certification this July.

Catherine believes that yoga is the vehicle with which we connect to our greater Selves.

Her classes include both safe and challenging asana, with special attention to breathing as it is a means of overcoming any challenge, on and off the mat. Most importantly, she offers guidance and encouragement to emphasize that we can, together, build new and loving relationships with ourselves and with others.

Carla Greco - With a background in the performing arts and education, Carla has always sought to share her appreciation for nature and spirituality through creative movement. As a JourneyDance teacher, Carla guides dancers through a transformational journey of the Self. To Carla, JourneyDance is meditation meets dance party. She is currently enrolled in a 200 hour, one year yoga teacher training program. But her heart chakra is with JourneyDance.

Karisa Baldwin - Karisa specializes in Kundalini yoga. She studied in Greece at the Semprevia Yoga College with Gloria Latham. She has also studied with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, Alan Finger and Sri Dharma Mittra. She incorporates the healing vibration into her classes, helping us to awaken our Kundalini energy in an expanded space.

Lisa Dawn Angerame graduated from the Jivamukti Teacher Training course in 2008, completed a 500 hour apprenticeship, and became Advanced Certified in 2011. She would like to acknowledge the incredible work that Sharon Gannon and David Life have done to create the Jivamukti Yoga method and the intensity with which they spread their teachings.

Lisa Dawn is an Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher who took her first yoga class well over a decade ago and began a journey of discovery that is still ongoing. For her, the spiritual discipline of yoga is a source of strength and healing. Daily practice continues to manifest physical, emotional, and spiritual insights that run deep. Study of the beautiful Sanskrit language through the Yoga Sutra and the Bhagavad Gita brings an even deeper understanding of the yoga practice.

She is also a senior certified Baptiste Power Vinyasa teacher, has trained with Jonny Kest and Paul Grilley, and is  certified to teach Pre and Post Natal yoga. In 2010, she co-founded NavaNYC, a company dedicated to bringing yoga and meditation into the workplace. She also publishes a vegan food blog called Lisa’s Project Vegan.

Paul Angerame is a Certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher who first remembers doing full lotus at 5 or 6 years old, perhaps as a result of visiting the India pavilion at the Worlds Fair. Through many spiritual teachers, from Jesuit educators to Toltec Masters, over many years, he has developed a belief and a fraction of understanding of the oneness of all.

From an early concern of where food comes from and an apprenticeship at age 13 in a no kill animal haven, Paul has developed, in the words of Dr. Schweitzer, “a reverence for all life," and as soon as he was in control of where his food came from, made the decision to stop eating other beings.

Paul is married to the perfect Lisa Dawn and they live in NYC and Northport with their son, Master Luke.
